The HKS 24996-AK013 is a 5PK885 Fine Tune V-Belt engineered for the fan and power steering belt position on GDB, GRB, and VAB Subaru Impreza WRX STI platforms, as well as select Legacy B4 applications. On these vehicles, this belt operates as a serpentine-type drive - a single belt routing covers both the fan and power steering pump simultaneously. Built from EPDM rubber with an aramid core wire, the belt delivers four times the high-temperature durability and ten times the cold-temperature performance of OEM, while reducing rotating mass by 17% and improving wear resistance by 30%.

As with the companion 5PK875 belt (24996-AK012), an important installation note applies: HKS confirmed through testing that the 5PK885 profile can come into contact with the stock alternator adjustment bolt due to dimensional differences from the OEM belt. Button bolts are included with this belt and must be installed in place of the stock alternator bolt to prevent abrasion and premature wear. GDB owners should confirm their applied variant - this belt fits Applied C through G (Version 8-10) only; earlier GDB Applied A-B variants require the narrower 24996-AK012 (5PK875).
