Product Description

The HKS 22004-AT001 is an adjustable cam gear designed for the 4A-GE and 4A-GZE engines found in the 1985-1991 Toyota Corolla GTS and 1985-1989 MR2. Built from anodized Duralumin with nickel-plated teeth, it allows precise camshaft timing adjustments across a ±20° range using a laser-etched 2° Vernier scale - enabling tuners to shift the power band to match specific camshaft profiles, turbo setups, or driving styles.

Each gear fits both the intake and exhaust cam positions and is compatible with stock or HKS aftermarket camshafts, making it a versatile addition to any 4A-GE build. The lightweight Duralumin construction reduces rotational drag, and the clearly marked advance and retard indicators simplify on-car adjustments. Note that this gear is not compatible with the intake side of 5-valve 4A-GE variants, and is sold as a single unit.
