• Does not fit Subaru BRZ ZD8 - the GR86 and BRZ use different OEM suspension settings and arm geometry; BRZ ZD8 requires separate part number 80330-AF020P
• Front upper mount is pillow ball (spherical bearing) - rear upper mount is rubber bush

The HKS Hipermax S Coilovers (80330-AT027P) are purpose-built and specifically retuned for the Toyota GR86 ZN8, engineered to enhance - not change - the GR86's sharper handling characteristics compared to the second-generation BRZ. HKS developed a completely separate kit for the GR86 after extensive testing confirmed the two cars require different suspension settings despite sharing the same FA24 platform. The "P" designation means the front upper mount uses a pillow ball spherical bearing, enabling camber angle adjustment and delivering more direct steering feel for drivers who want the most connected feedback possible.

The kit ships pre-assembled at a factory-default drop of 24mm front and 22mm rear for MT models - a mild, immediately drivable stance. The 30-step damping dials allow fine-tuning from a street-comfortable setting to a firmer, track-focused setup, and the rear helper spring ensures proper spring behavior across the full range of ride height adjustment. Factory spring rate changes are available through HKS for both front and rear, giving owners room to customize the spring spec for their specific use case.
