The HKS 32016-BT004 Hi-Power SPEC-L is a cat-back exhaust system engineered specifically for the 2022-2025 Subaru BRZ and Toyota GR86 equipped with the 2.4L FA24 naturally aspirated engine. HKS achieves a system weight comparable to titanium by using ultra-thin 0.8mm pipe and 0.5mm silencer walls in SUS304 stainless steel - reducing total system weight from approximately 35.5 lbs to just 25 lbs. The pipe diameter is tuned to the FA24's output characteristics to reduce backpressure and improve exhaust efficiency, resulting in measured gains of +3 HP and +1.2 ft-lbs on a stock vehicle.

The exhaust delivers HKS's signature bass-focused, clear sound character under acceleration while using a Silent Chamber design to eliminate low-frequency drone at cruising speed. Dual burnt titanium-finish tips complete the rear appearance with a performance look. This system is designed for manual transmission models only, and is louder than the JDM-spec quieter variant (32016-AF101) for drivers who prefer a more assertive exhaust note.
