• MOUNTING KIT REQUIRED - SOLD SEPARATELY: The Hellwig 3527 is the spring leaf assembly only. An LP Mounting Hardware Kit must be purchased separately and is required for installation. The correct kit depends on the vehicle's rear leaf spring width and axle configuration. Commonly used kits with the 3527 include:
  • #25250 - for 2.5" wide springs (typical for GM Silverado/Sierra 2500HD/3500HD 2001-2010 applications; also certain newer Ram 3500 variants - verify)
  • #25300 - for 3" wide springs (Dodge Ram / Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty applications)
  Contact Hellwig at 1-800-HELLWIG (435-5944) to confirm the correct mounting kit number for your specific vehicle year and model before ordering.
• SINGLE REAR WHEEL (SRW) APPLICATIONS ONLY - this kit does NOT fit dual rear wheel (DRW / dually) trucks. Confirmed directly in Hellwig's product page. For GM Silverado/Sierra 3500 HD DRW applications, see Hellwig part #3518.
• MULTI-LEAF REAR SPRING PACKS ONLY - the 3527 requires a factory multi-leaf rear leaf spring pack. Not compatible with single-leaf, composite, or coil rear suspension configurations.
• Does NOT work with factory contact overload springs. If your vehicle has factory contact overload springs, they must be removed before installing the 3527, or a different Hellwig Contact Overload Kit may be appropriate. Verify your truck's rear spring configuration before ordering.
• The Ram 3500 fitment is confirmed through 2025 on Hellwig's current product page. For 2026 Ram 3500, confirm fitment with Hellwig at 1-800-HELLWIG (435-5944) - the paired LP-25 kit (part #2527) is confirmed through 2026 Ram 3500, and the 3527 LP-35 fitment for 2026 may simply not yet have been updated on Hellwig's page.
• A 2026 Ram 1500 entry appears in Hellwig's fitment data for this part number. However, the 5th-generation Ram 1500 (2019+) uses coil rear suspension, not leaf springs. If you have a 2026 Ram 1500, verify your truck's rear suspension configuration and confirm fitment with Hellwig directly at 1-800-HELLWIG (435-5944) before ordering.
• For 2011+ Ford Super Duty F-250/F-350/F-450/F-550 applications, use Hellwig LP-35 part #3511 with mounting kit #25301 - the 3527 fitment for Ford ends at the 2010 model year.
• For 2011+ Silverado/Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD, use Hellwig part #3512 with mounting kit #25312 - the 3527 fitment for GM ends at 2010 for the 2500 HD/3500 HD.
