Fitment Notes

• FACTORY CONTACT OVERLOAD SPRINGS: Do not use the 61902 on vehicles equipped with factory contact overload springs without first removing them. If factory contact overload springs are present and removal is not preferred, use an appropriate Hellwig Contact Overload Helper Spring Kit for your vehicle. Verify your truck's rear spring configuration before ordering.
• The 1975-2014 Ford F-150 fitment span is one of the broadest in the Hellwig SSS/Pro Series lineup, covering the 9th through 13th generation F-150 platforms including the 2009-2014 F-150 (13th gen / P415 aluminum body). Note that for 2004-2022 F-150 specifically, Hellwig also offers the 61607, which uses the same SSS design. Both the 61902 and 61607 are confirmed for 2004-2008 F-150; only the 61902 covers 2009-2014.
• The 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 fitment covers the 2nd generation Ram (B2 platform) in Standard Cab, Club Cab (Quad Cab), and where applicable across all engine options and drivetrains.
• For 2003-2010 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 and newer Ram applications, see Hellwig part #61901 - the 61902 covers Dodge/Ram through the 2002 model year only.
• The 1965-1979 Ford F-100 and F-250 span covers the 5th through 7th generation F-Series platforms. These are 2WD and 4WD trucks with conventional multi-leaf rear spring packs.
• The 1966-1996 Ford Bronco fitment covers the full run of the full-size Bronco (2nd through 5th generation), both 2WD and 4WD, all cab and top configurations.

This makes the 61902 the go-to SSS Pro Series option for 2009-2014 Ford F-150 owners (who are not served by the 61607), for classic 1966-1996 Bronco owners, and for the full run of 2nd-generation Dodge Ram trucks. The 2-leaf-per-side over-axle design delivers more load distribution contact points than single-leaf EZ-series designs, translating to better lateral stability and reduced body roll when towing or carrying a heavy payload.
