The Hellwig 7793 Rear Sway Bar is a direct-fit, adjustable-rate rear suspension upgrade engineered for the 2009-2026 Dodge/Ram 1500 in 2WD and 4WD configurations at stock ride height. While the 4th- and 5th-generation Ram 1500 platforms do come with a factory rear sway bar, the stock unit is sized primarily for ride comfort rather than roll stiffness - leaving the truck with more rear body lean than most owners prefer during cornering, towing, and high-speed highway driving. The Hellwig 7793 addresses this with a solid 1" heat-treated 4140 chromoly bar - the largest diameter Hellwig offers for a stock-height Ram 1500 rear application - delivering maximum available rear roll stiffness improvement in this class.

At 1" diameter, the 7793 offers a step up from the 7/8" Hellwig 7709, making it the preferred choice for owners who prioritize maximum rear lateral stiffness - particularly those who frequently tow trailers, carry heavy bed loads, or drive at highway speeds where rear body sway is most noticeable. The adjustable rate design allows stiffness tuning via the multiple end link attachment positions on the bar, enabling owners to dial in performance from maximum firmness down to a more compliant everyday setting.
