• Fits all non-TRX Ram 1500 trim levels including Tradesman, Big Horn/Lone Star, Laramie, Rebel, Laramie Longhorn, Limited, and Limited Longhorn in both 2WD and 4WD configurations.

Product Description

The Hellwig 7787 Front Sway Bar is a direct-fit, 3-position adjustable front suspension upgrade engineered for the 2020-2026 Ram 1500 (all trims except TRX). The current-generation Ram 1500 is one of the most capable and comfortable half-ton trucks in the segment, but its factory front sway bar is tuned for ride comfort over roll stiffness - a trade-off that becomes noticeable during cornering, towing, or loaded driving where front body lean and understeer are more pronounced. The Hellwig 7787 addresses this directly with a solid 1-3/8" heat-treated 4140 chromoly bar with adjustable-rate 3-hole ends and adjustable-length end links, delivering improved front lateral stiffness and a more controlled, planted front end across all load and driving conditions.

Unlike many front sway bar upgrades for this platform, the 7787 includes adjustable-length end links in the kit - no separate sourcing required. The 3-position adjustable rate design lets owners fine-tune stiffness using the three bar-end hole positions: inner hole for maximum anti-roll stiffness during towing or performance driving, center hole for a balanced everyday setting, and outer hole for a more compliant response prioritizing ride quality. The installation is fully bolt-on using factory front suspension mounting locations, with all required frame bushings, brackets, and hardware included.

One important exclusion: this bar does NOT fit the Ram 1500 TRX, which uses a unique long-travel front suspension that requires a dedicated Hellwig part (7794). All other Ram 1500 trim levels from 2020-2026 - Tradesman, Big Horn, Rebel, Laramie, Limited, and all engine configurations including the 3.0L EcoDiesel and 5.7L HEMI - are confirmed fitments.
