• Compatible with stock ride height through 2" of lift - fits leveled and lightly lifted builds in addition to stock-height applications.
• This bar reuses the factory rear end links - end links are NOT included in the kit.
• Note: Adding a stiffer rear sway bar increases rear roll stiffness, which reduces rear suspension articulation compared to stock. Owners who prioritize maximum axle flex for technical off-road use should consider this trade-off against the substantial on-road handling benefit.
• This bar is specific to the Gladiator JT platform - does NOT fit the Wrangler JL/JLU despite shared underpinnings. For the Wrangler JL, see Hellwig 7775.
• Does NOT fit lifts exceeding 2" - a different Hellwig part is required for taller lifted applications.

Product Description

The Hellwig 7779 Rear Sway Bar is a direct-fit, 3-position adjustable upgrade engineered for the 2020-2026 Jeep Gladiator JT. While the Gladiator shares its front architecture with the Wrangler JL, its longer wheelbase, truck bed, and different rear suspension geometry make it a distinct platform - and one that benefits significantly from a rear sway bar upgrade. The factory rear sway bar on the Gladiator is sized with off-road articulation in mind rather than on-road roll stiffness, resulting in the characteristic rear body lean and highway sway that Gladiator owners frequently report, particularly when the truck carries cargo, aftermarket accessories like rooftop tents or steel bumpers, or a loaded bed.

The 7779 replaces the stock bar with a solid 7/8" heat-treated 4140 chromoly unit that is meaningfully stiffer than factory, with a 3-position adjustable end design that lets owners dial in the right stiffness for their use case. The inner hole setting delivers maximum anti-roll resistance for towing, loaded driving, or performance-oriented on-road use. The center hole provides a balanced daily-use setting. The outer hole retains some rear suspension compliance, preserving a measure of articulation for trail use while still providing a significant improvement over the stock bar. The bar reuses the factory rear end links and bolts to the factory rear axle mounting locations - no modification required. Compatible with stock ride height through 2" of lift.
