Product Description

The Hellwig 7780 Rear Sway Bar is a direct-fit, 3-position adjustable upgrade engineered for the 2019-2026 T1xx-generation Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500. The current-generation Silverado and Sierra 1500 are highly capable tow rigs and haulers, but the factory rear sway bar is sized for ride comfort rather than aggressive roll stiffness, leaving these trucks with more rear body lean than many drivers find acceptable during cornering, towing, or high-speed highway driving. The Hellwig 7780 replaces the stock bar with a solid 1-1/8" heat-treated 4140 chromoly unit with 3-position adjustable rate control, delivering a meaningful step up in rear lateral stiffness and body roll resistance across all driving conditions.

The 3-position adjustable design is a significant advantage over fixed-rate alternatives. Owners can tune the bar to the inner (stiffer) hole position for maximum towing stability or loaded hauling, use the center hole for a balanced everyday setting, or move to the outer hole for a more compliant response during unloaded daily commuting.
