Fitment Notes

• DOES NOT FIT Ford F-150 Raptor - any model year. The Raptor uses a different rear suspension and spring configuration that is not compatible with the 61607.
• DOES NOT FIT 2009-2014 Ford F-150 - this generation (13th gen, P415 platform) is not in the confirmed fitment list. The 61607 covers the 12th gen (2004-2008) and the 13th gen aluminum-body (2015-2022) only. 2009-2014 F-150 owners should contact Hellwig for the correct part number.
• 2021-2022 Ford F-150 - ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Fitment applies to 2WD and 4WD Pickup configurations with a 3-leaf rear spring pack only. Does NOT fit trucks equipped with a 2-leaf rear spring pack. Does NOT fit trucks equipped with adaptive headlights. Verify your 2021-2022 F-150's rear leaf spring count and headlight configuration before ordering.
• If your F-150 is equipped with factory contact overload springs, check Hellwig's vehicle fitment guide for your specific year before ordering. Contact overload springs may affect installation compatibility.
• All mounting hardware and Silent Support System (SSS) anti-noise bushings are included in the kit - no separate mounting hardware kit is required. One kit (part #61607) serves both sides of the vehicle.
• For lifted F-150s: if equipped with a non-tapered lift block, a spacer may be required for proper installation. Use Hellwig spacer PN[4828] for a 2" rear lift or PN[4830] for a 4" rear lift.

• 2-leaf stack per side construction - two progressive-rate spring leaves are stacked over each side of the rear axle, providing more load-distribution contact points and better bilateral support than single-leaf designs, resulting in superior resistance to body roll and trailer sway.
• Progressive rate design - the spring rate builds proportionally as the load compresses the factory leaf pack. The 61607 has virtually no effect on ride quality when the F-150 is unloaded or lightly loaded; it engages and firms progressively as payload weight increases.
• Fully adjustable load rate - the included heavy-duty U-bolts allow independent left and right side adjustment for tuning to specific loads or correcting uneven side loading from off-center cargo or camper shell weight distribution.

The Hellwig 61607 Silent Support System Series Helper Spring is Hellwig's premium load management solution for the 2004-2008 and 2015-2022 Ford F-150, delivering up to 2,500 lbs. of supplemental rear load capacity with a refined, noise-isolated installation that sets it apart from standard EZ-series and LP-series helper springs. The defining feature of the SSS Pro Series is Hellwig's patented Silent Support System bushings - high-durometer polymer anti-noise isolators that are installed between the helper spring leaves and the factory leaf pack, eliminating the metal-on-metal vibration and spring noise that can occur with conventional over-axle helper spring designs. The result is a significantly quieter, more refined engagement under load - particularly noticeable with aluminum-body F-150 trucks where underbody noise transmission is more perceptible.

The 61607 uses an over-axle mounting design that positions the 2-leaf-per-side spring assembly directly on top of the rear axle and factory leaf pack, secured with the included heavy-duty U-bolts and brackets - a more positive-engagement mounting geometry than behind-axle EZ-series designs. All mounting hardware and SSS bushings are included; no separate mounting kit purchase is required. The progressive spring rate keeps the 61607 fully transparent during empty driving, engaging progressively as payload builds, so the F-150 retains its normal ride character when running empty. The U-bolt hardware allows independent left/right load rate adjustment for tuning to specific payload requirements. Installation is a straightforward bolt-on procedure requiring approximately one hour with common hand tools.

Two critical fitment exclusions: the 61607 does NOT fit the Ford F-150 Raptor, and does NOT fit the 2009-2014 F-150 generation (13th gen P415 platform).
