The Hellwig 7739 Rear Sway Bar is a direct-fit suspension upgrade engineered specifically for the 2014-2023 Ram 3500 equipped with the 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel engine in both 2WD and 4WD configurations. The Ram 3500 is one of the most demanding towing and hauling platforms in the one-ton truck segment, and while it does come with a factory rear sway bar, the stock unit is not sized to provide meaningful resistance against the pronounced body sway that occurs during fifth wheel towing, gooseneck trailer operation, or truck camper use. The Hellwig 7739 replaces the factory bar with a solid 1-1/8" heat-treated 4140 chromoly unit, delivering improved rear lateral stiffness, reduced body lean during cornering, and a substantially more controlled and confidence-inspiring feel both empty and at maximum load.
