Fitment Notes

• MOUNTING KIT REQUIRED - SOLD SEPARATELY: The Hellwig 2527 is the spring leaf assembly only. An LP Mounting Hardware Kit must be purchased separately and is required for installation. The correct mounting kit depends on the vehicle's rear leaf spring width and axle configuration. Commonly used mounting kits include #25250 (for 2.5" wide springs, typical of GM applications) and #25300 (for 3" wide springs, typical of Dodge/Ram applications). Contact Hellwig at 1-800-HELLWIG (435-5944) to confirm the correct mounting kit for your specific vehicle year and model.
• SINGLE REAR WHEEL (SRW) APPLICATIONS ONLY - this kit does NOT fit dual rear wheel (DRW / dually) trucks. The LP-25 is a multi-leaf design that mounts over the top of the factory spring pack and requires the clearance available on SRW axle configurations. DRW trucks require a different product.
• MULTI-LEAF REAR SPRING PACKS ONLY - the 2527 requires a factory multi-leaf rear spring pack. Not compatible with single-leaf, composite, or independent rear suspension configurations.
• If your truck is equipped with factory contact overload springs, check the Hellwig vehicle fitment guide carefully before ordering. Vehicles with factory contact overloads may require additional steps or a different Hellwig product.
• The Ram 3500 SRW fitment runs from 2011 through 2026 and covers the 4th generation (2009-2018) and 5th generation (2019-2026) platforms - both confirmed compatible with the 2527 per Hellwig's current product page.
• For 2011+ Ram 2500 fitment beyond 2013, verify with Hellwig directly - the product page currently lists Ram 2500 only through 2013; later Ram 2500 trucks may require a different part number.
• For 2011+ Ford Super Duty fitment (F-250/F-350/F-450/F-550), use Hellwig part #2511, which is engineered specifically for the 2011-2026 Super Duty platform.
• Compatible with all cab styles (Regular Cab, Quad/Crew Cab, Mega Cab) and all bed lengths - cab and bed configuration do not affect rear leaf spring helper fitment.

The Hellwig 2527 LP-25 Progressive Rate Load Leveler Helper Springs are Hellwig's heavy-duty load management solution for SRW 3/4-ton and 1-ton pickups spanning three major domestic truck platforms: Dodge/Ram 1500-3500 (2003-2026), Ford Super Duty F-250 and F-350 (2008-2010), and Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra HD pickups (2001-2010). Rated to 2,500 lbs. of supplemental rear load capacity and purpose-built for fleet applications, commercial use, and heavy towing and hauling, the LP-25 is the flagship of Hellwig's helper spring lineup. The progressive rate design keeps these springs invisible during empty daily driving - they activate only as the factory leaf pack begins to compress under load - so the truck retains its stock ride character when unloaded while delivering progressively firmer support as payload increases.

The 2527 uses a 3-leaf multi-leaf assembly design that spans both sides of the rear axle, distributing supplemental load force bilaterally for more consistent side-to-side leveling and reduced body roll compared to single-leaf designs.
