Fitment Notes

• Front position only - these are stock-height front sway bar end links engineered to replace the factory units on the GMT900 (2007-2013) and K2XX (2014-2018) GMT platform vehicles listed above.
• Designed as the dedicated end link upgrade kit for use with the Hellwig 7685 Front Sway Bar on this platform - the 7985 replaces the factory front end links that are retained when installing the 7685 bar, upgrading them to heavy-duty polyurethane-bushed units in the same service call.
• Stock ride height applications only - not intended for lifted trucks. Adjustable 2-3" from shortest length to accommodate minor installation variation at stock height.
• Includes both driver and passenger side end links - sold as a pair.
• GMC Yukon fitment includes all Yukon trims including Denali and Yukon XL (1500) across the 2007-2018 range.

Product Description

The Hellwig 7985 is a front sway bar end link upgrade kit engineered for 2007-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon, Chevrolet Suburban, and Cadillac Escalade at stock ride height. The factory front end links on these GMT900 and K2XX platform vehicles use a bayonet/stem-style design that, while adequate for the stock front sway bar, is not well matched to the additional stiffness and loads generated when upgrading to the Hellwig 7685 Front Sway Bar. The 7985 replaces the factory units with heavy-duty bushed end links featuring polyurethane bushings and high-tensile threaded studs - delivering a complete front sway bar system upgrade that pairs properly with the 7685 bar.

The polyurethane bushing design is the core advantage of this upgrade over factory end links. Where the OEM rubber-bushed or ball-joint end links degrade relatively quickly under increased sway bar loads - particularly in towing and hauling use - the specially engineered polyurethane bushings in the 7985 are designed to handle high degrees of articulation without tearing or compressing, providing a far longer service life. Adjustable 2-3" from shortest length, they accommodate minor installation variation across the full 2007-2018 production run spanning multiple platform generations. All components are powder coated and all fastener hardware is zinc-plated for long-term corrosion resistance.
