The Hawk Performance HB542G.490 DTC-60 brake pads are engineered for high-performance motorsport applications, offering superior release and torque control. Their high torque output with less aggressive initial bite makes them ideal for vehicles with high deceleration rates, including those with or without downforce. These pads are particularly suitable for lightweight front axle applications and are compatible with various racing vehicles such as NASCAR, ARCA, Super Late models, and open-wheel race cars.

Operating effectively within a temperature range of 400-1600°F, with an optimal range between 600-1200°F, the DTC-60 compound ensures excellent modulation and release characteristics. Additionally, it delivers very low abrasive rotor wear, ensuring longevity and consistent performance under extreme conditions. Please note that Hawk Performance compounds are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors; they are designed to work with iron/metal rotors.
