Fitment Notes

  • Front axle application only - Brembo caliper fitment.
  • Mazda MX-5 Miata ND fitment applies to vehicles equipped with the optional Brembo/BBS package only. Standard non-Brembo ND Miata front brakes use a different pad shape.
  • Cobalt SS and HHR SS fitment applies to the turbocharged SS trim with Brembo front calipers only - does not fit non-SS Cobalt or HHR.
  • For track, HPDE, and race use only - not recommended for street daily driving.
  • Not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors; designed for iron/metal rotors only.
  • Expect significantly increased noise, dust, and rotor wear compared to street compounds - normal characteristics of a high-torque race compound.
  • Requires a proper race bed-in procedure after installation before competitive use.
  • No electronic wear sensor or hardware included.

Features

  • DTC-60 compound delivers very high brake torque with high initial bite - purpose-built for track-driven applications where maximum deceleration is required.
  • Superior release and torque control characteristics for precise, repeatable braking through consecutive corners.
  • Very low abrasive rotor wear for a high-torque race compound - extended rotor service life in endurance and sprint racing.
  • High temperature operating range of 400-1600°F with an optimal window of 700-1100°F - built for sustained track heat cycles.
  • Works well as a standalone front compound or in split-friction setups with DTC-30 or Blue 9012 on the rear axle.
  • Proven across NASCAR, Sports Car/GT, Open Wheel/Formula, and Trans-Am competition.
  • Backed by Hawk's limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

Product Description

The Hawk HB548G.510 DTC-60 front brake pads are engineered for the OEM Brembo front calipers shared across the 2007-2010 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 2008-2010 Chevrolet HHR SS, 2015-2020 Alfa Romeo 4C (all variants), and 2016-2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata ND Club, Grand Touring, Sport, and RF Club models equipped with the Brembo/BBS package. For drivers who have pushed their Brembo-equipped cars at track days, autocross events, or club racing and found street compounds fading under sustained heat, the DTC-60 delivers the high-torque, fade-free braking performance the Brembo hardware is capable of.

The DTC-60's high optimal temperature window of 700-1100°F means these pads require sustained hard braking to reach their performance peak - they are not suitable for street driving or low-intensity track sessions where they cannot be properly heat-cycled. On the lightweight Alfa 4C and ND Miata platforms in particular, the DTC-60 is a popular choice as a front compound paired with a lower-torque compound like DTC-30 on the rear for an optimized split-friction balance. A thorough race bed-in procedure is mandatory after installation.
