  • Fade resistant across a wide street-use temperature range - effective from dead cold up to 700°F.
  • Smooth, progressive pedal feel and consistent brake release characteristics for spirited street and canyon driving.
  • Gentle on rotors with extended pad and rotor service life over more aggressive track compounds.
  • Virtually noise-free with low dust output - a clean, daily-driver-friendly upgrade for Brembo-equipped sport compacts and roadsters.

Product Description

The Hawk HB548F.510 HPS front brake pads are engineered for the OEM Brembo front calipers fitted to the 2007-2010 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 2008-2010 Chevrolet HHR SS, 2015-2020 Alfa Romeo 4C (all variants), and 2016-2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata ND Club, Grand Touring, Sport, and RF Club models equipped with the Brembo/BBS package. These vehicles share a common Brembo caliper pad interface, and the HPS compound brings Hawk's proven Ferro-Carbon street formula to each of them - delivering 20-40% more stopping power than the OEM brake pads with improved fade resistance and a smooth, consistent pedal feel.

For owners of the turbocharged Cobalt SS, the lightweight Alfa 4C, or the Brembo-equipped ND Miata, the HPS pads are the ideal daily performance upgrade - effective from a cold start, fade resistant across a wide range of street temperatures, and quiet enough to live with every day. A proper bed-in procedure is recommended after installation to achieve optimal friction film transfer to the rotor surface.
