Product Description

The Hawk Performance HB518U.642 DTC-70 rear brake pads are engineered for high-performance motorsports applications, offering superior braking capabilities for vehicles such as the 2001-2003 BMW M5, 2001-2003 BMW Z8, and various BMW 7 Series and X5 models. Utilizing Hawk's DTC-70 compound, these pads deliver extremely high torque and an aggressive initial bite, ensuring optimal braking performance under demanding conditions.

With an operating temperature range of 400-1,600°F (204-871°C), the DTC-70 compound provides excellent modulation and release characteristics, making it ideal for vehicles subjected to high deceleration rates, whether with or without downforce. These pads are designed for use with iron or metal rotors and are not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors. Installation is straightforward, with included OE-style clips for a direct fitment.

Please note that due to the aggressive nature of the DTC-70 compound, these pads are not recommended for street use. They are best suited for track days, competitive racing, and other high-performance driving scenarios.
