Designed specifically for high-performance applications, the HP+ compound offers an extremely high coefficient of friction that translates to shorter stopping distances and increased confidence during aggressive driving. The low to mid temperature operating range makes these pads ideal for autocross events, Solo II competition, and track day use, while still maintaining adequate performance for daily driving. Users should expect increased brake dust and noise compared to standard street pads due to the aggressive nature of this race-oriented compound. Proper verification of caliper type is essential, as many BMW models offered both standard and blue-painted performance caliper options during this generation, each requiring different pad specifications.

Installation requires verification of brake caliper configuration and rotor diameter, as fitment varies significantly by trim level, M Sport package, and brake package options. These pads are designed exclusively for use with iron or metal rotors and are absolutely not compatible with carbon ceramic brake systems found on higher-performance M models.
