The Hawk HB248B.650 HPS 5.0 rear brake pads are engineered for high-performance street driving in Corvette C5/C6 and Cadillac XLR platforms. Utilizing the aggressive HPS 5.0 ferro-carbon compound, these pads deliver 20-40 % shorter stopping distances than OEM pads, while maintaining smooth, ABS-compatible pedal feel and exceptionally low dust output. Ideal for spirited weekend drives or autoX events, they offer impressive fade resistance without compromising comfort. 

Matching OEM dimensions and featuring a stout 16.51 mm thickness, HPS 5.0 pads are pre-burnished and come with chamfered edges, slotted grooves, and OEM-style hardware for a direct bolt-on installation. The compound operates seamlessly from 100 °F to 752 °F, with optimal performance between 100-554 °F, ensuring reliable braking from daily traffic to canyon carving sessions.

Fitment is confirmed through 2013 for Corvette and 2009 for XLR, but beyond those production years, compatibility remains unverified. These pads include Hawk's Limited Lifetime Warranty and are optimized for street use - quiet, low dust, and gentle on rotors - while still delivering significantly enhanced braking performance. Not suitable for carbon-ceramic rotors.
