The Hawk HB659U.570 DTC-70 rear brake pads are engineered for the rear OEM 2-piece padlet caliper on the 2006-2013 Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06, 2010-2013 Grand Sport, and 2009-2013 ZR1 - the same caliper interface as the DTC-60 variant (HB659G.570), but with the DTC-70's significantly higher torque output and more aggressive initial bite. These pads arrive with OEM shims and retention pins for direct installation, and are the choice for experienced C6 circuit racers who have already maximized DTC-60 performance and need more stopping power from the rear axle.

The DTC-70's extreme high optimal temperature window of 800-1200°F means these pads deliver their best performance only under sustained, hard braking at professional circuit speeds. They are most effective paired with DTC-60 fronts for a split-friction configuration that maintains rear-end stability, though some drivers run a full DTC-70 front-and-rear setup on the Z06 and ZR1. A thorough race bed-in procedure is mandatory after installation, and these pads must not be used on the street under any circumstances.
