Fitment Notes

• Position: Front axle only for all applications listed above.
• Not compatible with carbon ceramic rotors. For use with iron/metal rotors only.
• This pad fits the Volvo Polestar 6-piston Brembo front caliper with 371mm x 32mm 2-piece front rotors fitted as standard equipment to all Volvo S60 and V60 Polestar models. This is the large Polestar-specific front brake package - standard non-Polestar S60 and V60 models use smaller front calipers and require a different pad.
• The 2018 Volvo S60 Polestar fitment is valid to Chassis/VIN 450008 only. Vehicles beyond this VIN may use a different brake configuration - confirm your VIN before ordering for 2018 applications.
• The 2015-2016 Polestar models use the 3.0L inline-6 turbocharged engine (B6304T4, 345hp). The 2017-2018 Polestar models use the 2.0L four-cylinder twin-charged engine (B4204T37, 367hp). All Polestar S60 and V60 models covered here are all-wheel drive.
• A minimum 20-inch wheel diameter with sufficient offset is generally required to clear the 371mm Polestar Brembo front caliper and rotor assembly. Verify wheel clearance before installation if running non-OEM wheels.
• DTC-70 is a pure motorsport compound not suitable for street use. It requires sustained elevated operating temperatures that cannot be achieved in normal road driving. Its extremely high initial bite and torque output would create unpredictable and unsafe braking behavior at cold temperatures on public roads.
• DTC-70 is Hawk's highest-torque DTC compound and is intended for heavier, higher-downforce platforms generating significant tire grip that can absorb its extreme initial bite. For Polestar owners where more manageable front bite is preferred, DTC-60 (HB581G.660) is the recommended alternative.

DTC-70 is a track-only compound and must not be used for street driving. This pad is for the front axle only. The DTC-60 variant (HB581G.660) is recommended for track day and HPDE use where extreme DTC-70 temperatures are not consistently achieved. Compatible with iron and metal rotors only; carbon ceramic brake discs are not supported.
