• This kit (HT-159988) suits and includes the NTK LZA08-H5 wideband sensor - two sensors are included. The NTK sensor is specifically recommended for methanol-powered vehicles and applications where ethanol or alternative fuels may degrade Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor elements over time.
• For Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor preference on dual-channel builds, use HT-159986 (WB2 Bosch) instead.
• Communicates with the ECU exclusively via CAN bus - does not consume analog ECU input channels.
• On the WB2 controller, sensors are allocated to specific positions - refer to the included Quick Start Guide for sensor wiring allocation and ECU connection details.
• Programmable and controlled through Haltech NSP, ESP, or ECU Manager software.
• Controller is waterproof and engine bay safe - mount as far from extreme heat sources (exhaust, turbocharger) as possible. Orient connectors to avoid water pooling.

The Haltech HT-159988 WB2 NTK is the dual-channel CAN O2 wideband controller kit built specifically for methanol, E85, and alternative-fuel powered vehicles requiring simultaneous AFR monitoring on two independent exhaust streams. It is the NTK sensor variant of the WB2 platform - sharing the same compact, waterproof 86mm x 77mm x 28mm controller module and full Haltech ECU CAN compatibility as the Bosch LSU 4.9 version (HT-159986), but equipped with two NTK LZA08-H5 wideband sensors instead. The NTK sensor is specifically recommended for methanol applications because methanol's chemical properties can degrade Bosch LSU 4.9 sensor elements more rapidly, reducing accuracy and service life over time. For builds running methanol or high-percentage ethanol blends at sustained power levels, the NTK sensor provides superior long-term measurement reliability.

The WB2 controller delivers dual real-time AFR data to the ECU entirely over CAN bus at 1Mbit/sec - covering both exhaust banks simultaneously without consuming any of the ECU's analog input channels. The waterproof controller module is engine bay safe with a 125°C maximum ambient temperature rating, and the wide 6.5V to 16V DC supply voltage range with built-in short circuit and reverse polarity protection ensures reliable operation under the electrical demands of high-power methanol builds. Supply current peaks at 6A due to dual sensor heating elements - verify the power supply circuit is rated accordingly.
