Fitment Notes

• Designed as a CAN expansion accessory for all Haltech Nexus, Elite, and Platinum series ECUs - the ideal dual-channel wideband solution for V-engine builds, twin-turbo setups, and any application requiring simultaneous AFR monitoring on two exhaust streams.
• This kit (HT-159986) suits the Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband sensor - two sensors are included. An NTK sensor version is available separately for methanol-powered applications where the NTK LZA08-H5 is preferred.
• Communicates with the ECU exclusively via CAN bus - does not consume analog ECU input channels, preserving those inputs for other sensors.
• On the WB2 controller, sensors are allocated to specific positions - refer to the included Quick Start Guide for sensor wiring allocation and ECU wiring connection details.
• Programmable and controlled through Haltech NSP, ESP, or ECU Manager software.
• Controller is waterproof and engine bay safe - can be mounted directly in the engine bay. Mount as far from extreme heat sources (exhaust, turbocharger) as possible. Orient connectors to avoid water pooling.
• Do NOT reverse polarity - reverse polarity protection is built in, but correct wiring must be verified before powering the unit.

The Haltech HT-159986 WB2 is a dual-channel CAN O2 wideband controller kit engineered for engine builds requiring simultaneous air/fuel ratio monitoring on two independent exhaust streams. Where the single-channel WB1 suits inline engines or single-exhaust setups, the WB2 is the natural choice for V-engines, flat-six platforms, twin-turbo builds, and any application where bank-to-bank or cylinder-group AFR balance is critical to accurate tuning. The kit includes two Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband sensors, both weld-on bungs, and all wiring hardware - providing a complete, self-contained dual-channel wideband solution without the need to source any additional components.

The WB2 controller communicates with the ECU entirely over CAN bus at 1Mbit/sec, delivering real-time dual AFR data without consuming any of the ECU's analog input channels - a significant advantage in complex builds where those inputs are already allocated to other sensors. The controller module shares the same compact 86mm x 77mm x 28mm housing as the WB1, is fully waterproof, and is rated to a maximum ambient temperature of 125°C, making it engine bay safe for mounting near the firewall or other suitable underhood locations. Supply current peaks at 6A on the WB2 due to the dual sensor heating elements - ensure the power supply cable is connected to a circuit capable of sustaining this load.

Setup and configuration are managed through Haltech's NSP, ESP, or ECU Manager software, with plug-and-play CAN compatibility across all Haltech Nexus, Elite, and Platinum series ECUs.
