• This kit (HT-159976) suits the Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband sensor, which is included. A separate NTK sensor version is available for methanol-powered applications where the NTK LZA08-H5 sensor is preferred.
• Communicates with the ECU via CAN bus - does not use analog inputs, freeing ECU analog channels for other sensors.
• Programmable and controlled through Haltech NSP, ESP, or ECU Manager software.
• Controller is waterproof and engine bay safe - can be mounted directly in the engine bay without requiring a protective enclosure.

The Haltech HT-159976 WB1 is a single-channel CAN O2 wideband controller kit designed to deliver accurate, real-time air/fuel ratio data to any compatible Haltech ECU via CAN bus. Unlike traditional analog wideband controllers that consume valuable ECU analog input channels, the WB1 communicates entirely over CAN, preserving those inputs for other sensors and simplifying wiring in complex harness builds. The kit is built around the Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband sensor - the most widely used broadband lambda sensor in performance engine management - and includes everything needed for a complete installation right out of the box.

The WB1 controller module is waterproof and compact at 86mm x 77mm x 28mm, making it fully engine bay safe. It can be mounted directly in the engine compartment without any additional enclosure or protective housing, simplifying the installation layout compared to previous-generation controllers that required remote mounting away from heat sources. A pre-terminated 1.2m (4 ft) CAN cable is included for connection to the ECU's CAN bus, and the wide supply voltage range of 6.5V to 16V DC - combined with built-in short circuit and reverse polarity protection - ensures reliable operation across the electrical conditions found in race and performance vehicles.
