Vehicle Fitment

Fitment Notes

• Compatible with Haltech Nexus and Elite Series ECUs on NSP (Nexus Software Platform) only. Not compatible with Haltech Platinum Series ECUs or ESP software.
• Uses the NTK LZA08-H5 wideband O2 sensor - not interchangeable with the Bosch LSU4.9 variant (HT-159976). Select based on your ECU compatibility and fuel type requirements.
• The WB1 controller is waterproof and designed for engine bay mounting - no enclosure or remote mounting required.
• The included 1200mm (4ft) CAN cable connects the WB1 controller to the ECU. For installations requiring greater reach, additional CAN cable length may be needed.
• The NTK sensor suits methanol and ethanol-blended fuel applications. For gasoline-only builds or installations where the LSU4.9 is preferred, see HT-159976 (WB1 LSU4.9 kit).

Product Description

The Haltech HT-159978 WB1 NTK is a single channel CAN wideband O2 controller kit designed for use with Haltech Nexus and Elite Series ECUs on NSP software. It uses the NTK LZA08-H5 wideband sensor - Haltech's recommended sensor for methanol-powered vehicles, which is also well suited to E85, ethanol-blended fuels, and petrol. The compact, waterproof WB1 controller delivers real-time AFR data to the ECU via CAN bus, freeing up analog input channels while providing accurate, low-latency wideband readings throughout the RPM and load range.

Unlike the LSU4.9-based WB1 kit (HT-159976), this NTK variant is specifically preferred for methanol and high-ethanol content builds where the NTK sensor's characteristics better suit the fuel being used. The kit includes everything needed for installation - the controller, NTK sensor, 1200mm CAN cable, power supply cable, weld-on exhaust bung, and Quick Start Guide. The waterproof controller can be mounted directly in the engine bay close to the sensor for a clean installation. Note that NSP software compatibility is required - this kit is not compatible with Haltech Platinum Series ECUs or ESP software.
