Product Description

The H&R 28686-3 is a Sport series progressive lowering spring set for the 2020-2024 BMW M8 Coupe and M8 Competition Coupe (F92). Like the Gran Coupe variant (28686-4), this spring set requires the factory adaptive shock absorbers and is not compatible with standard passive dampers. The progressive rate design lowers the M8 Coupe approximately 1.3 inches front and rear -- a more aggressive drop than the Gran Coupe spec -- closing the fender gap and lowering the center of gravity for reduced body roll and improved cornering response.

All H&R Sport springs are manufactured from 54SiCr6 spring steel at H&R's ISO 9001 certified, TUV approved facility in Lennestadt, Germany. Each spring is shot-peened during production, extending fatigue life by over 200% compared to non-peened springs, and powder coated for long-term corrosion resistance. This part number is specific to the F92 Coupe body style -- M8 Gran Coupe (F93) uses 28686-4 and M8 Convertible (F91) uses 28686-2. Wheel alignment required
