Product Description

The H&R 28688-1 is a Sport Lowering Spring kit engineered for the Ferrari 488 GTB Coupe (2015-2019), 488 Spider (2015-2020), and F8 Tributo (2020-2022) -- all sharing the F142 chassis and equipped with the OE front lift system. Drop heights are calibrated per model: the GTB Coupe lowers approximately 1.2" front and 1.2" rear; the Spider 1.2" front and 1.0" rear to account for the convertible body's weight distribution; and the F8 Tributo 1.3" front and 1.3" rear. All Pista variants are excluded due to different suspension geometry. The progressive spring rate design reduces body roll and nose dive under hard driving while maintaining the compliance and ride refinement expected of a Ferrari road car. H&R manufactures all springs from 54SiCr6 high-tensile spring steel rated at 290,000 psi tensile strength, shot-peened to extend fatigue life, block-set to eliminate post-install sag, and finished with a premium epoxy powder coat for long-term corrosion resistance. Every spring is 100% load-tested before leaving H&R's ISO 9001 certified and TUV approved production facility in Germany. The 28688-1 is a direct bolt-on installation using the vehicle's factory OEM dampers -- no shock replacement is required. Alignment is recommended after installation. This kit carries H&R's limited lifetime warranty against defects and sag.
