Product Description

The H&R 54763 Sport Springs are a direct-drop replacement for the factory coil springs on the 2012-2022 Volkswagen Passat Sedan in FWD configuration. Fitment spans the full NMS/B7 platform run -- covering 2.5L I5 and TDI models from 2012-2015, 1.8T and TDI models in 2016, and 2.0T models from 2017-2022. These springs lower the front approximately 1.5" and the rear approximately 1.3", tightening the stance and reducing fender gap while lowering the vehicle's center of gravity for reduced body roll and improved cornering response. The progressive spring rate softens during normal cruising for daily comfort, then firms progressively under hard cornering loads.

Every H&R Sport Spring is manufactured from 54SiCr6 spring steel, shot-peened to more than double fatigue life, and block-set to prevent sag over the spring's service life. All production is completed in-house at H&R's ISO 9001-certified facility in Germany, and each spring is individually tested before shipment. The set includes all four springs for a complete front and rear installation. DSG-equipped vehicles may experience slightly greater front drop than manual transmission variants. These springs do not fit 4Motion AWD models or any V6-equipped Passat -- use H&R 54763-2 for V6 fitment.
