Product Description

The H&R 50435-4 is a Sport Lowering Spring kit engineered for the 2007-2013 BMW X5 (E70) and 2008-2014 BMW X6 (E71) equipped with self-leveling rear suspension, including all diesel and M variants. This kit is specifically calibrated for the self-leveling platform and includes two front lowering springs and two rear lowering links -- not rear coil springs -- as required by the self-leveling suspension architecture. Vehicles without self-leveling should use H&R part number 50435-3 instead. The front springs lower the vehicle approximately 1.2" and the rear links provide approximately 1.0" of additional drop, closing the fender gap and reducing the center of gravity for improved handling and a more aggressive stance. H&R manufactures all springs from 54SiCr6 high-tensile spring steel rated at 290,000 psi, shot-peened to extend fatigue life, block-set to eliminate post-install sag, and finished with a premium epoxy powder coat for long-term corrosion resistance. The progressive spring rate design provides firmer support during cornering and spirited driving while remaining compliant enough for daily street use. All springs are 100% load-tested before leaving H&R's ISO 9001 certified facility in Germany, ensuring consistent ride height and spring rate across every unit. The 50435-4 is a direct bolt-on installation using the vehicle's factory OEM dampers with no shock replacement required.
