Product Description

The H&R 54752 is a Sport Springs set built for the 2006-2007 Volkswagen Golf GTI (Mk5) 2.0T, dropping the car 1.5 inches up front and 1.4 inches in the rear. Manufactured from H&R's special 54SiCr6 spring steel, rated at 290,000 PSI tensile strength, these springs deliver aggressive handling characteristics without the harsh ride typical of less advanced spring systems.

A progressive spring rate design gives more control while keeping the ride comfortable and fun to drive, engineered specifically for street use. Lowering the center of gravity reduces body roll for sharper handling, while the reduced fender-well gap gives the GTI a noticeably more aggressive, planted stance.

Every H&R spring is produced at their ISO 9001 certified facility in Germany, shot-peened to increase service life by more than 200%, and individually tested 100% before leaving the factory. For a milder stance, H&R's OE Sport variant (PN 54752-55) drops just 0.75 inches front and rear; for a more aggressive setup, the Super Sport variant (PN 54752-77) drops a full 1.9 inches and also fits Jetta and Rabbit models on the same platform.
