Product Description

The H&R 70426 is a 30mm front sway bar built specifically for the E60-generation BMW M5, engineered to sharpen turn-in and cut front-end body roll without touching ride height or spring rate. It's a straightforward, focused upgrade for an M5 owner who wants a noticeably more planted front end in fast direction changes, particularly if the car is already on stiffer springs or coilovers where the factory front bar starts to feel like the weak link.

Unlike some of H&R's other BMW sway bars, this one is a fixed, non-adjustable rate rather than a multi-hole design - H&R chose that spec specifically for the S85-powered E60 M5's front geometry rather than offering user-tunable stiffness. Construction follows H&R's standard process: cold-formed and heat-treated 50CrV4 steel, shot-peened for durability, forged ends, and a powder-coated finish, all produced in Germany under ISO 9001 and TUV oversight.

This bar pairs naturally with H&R's springs or coilovers for the E60 M5 as part of a full handling upgrade, though it works as a standalone improvement on stock suspension as well. Since it's front-only, riders looking to also address rear-end balance will want to pair it with a compatible H&R rear bar for the same platform.
