The stopper collar is the primary advantage over the smooth-style 3002-8 - it provides a built-in depth reference that seats against the guide boss during installation, eliminating the need to measure seating depth independently on each of the eight intake positions. Turned from true C67410 Manganese Bronze on precision CNC centers, these guides hold tighter concentricity tolerances than any OEM replacement, meaning less time spent honing during installation and more consistent valve-to-guide clearances once assembled.
