Product Description

The GReddy 11501666 Type FV-II is the second generation of GReddy's Floating Valve blow-off valve, improving on the original Type FV (11501665) with a more refined design, easier adjustment, and greater reliability across a wider HP range. The patented Floating Valve mechanism uses opposing dual springs and a silicone diaphragm to prevent the valve from opening during intake manifold vacuum conditions - eliminating the idle surge and rough running often caused by competing BOV designs that vent boost pressure indiscriminately. This design allows the FV2 to respond quickly at low boost without needing excessive spring preload, while maintaining reliable hold against premature lift at high boost levels up to 480 HP.

The most significant updates over the original FV are the new tool-free detent adjustment knob - offering approximately five full rotations of adjustment range for fine spring preload tuning - and the fully 360-degree adjustable top hat, which allows the vacuum nipple to be repositioned without any disassembly. Mounting dimensions are identical to all previous GReddy BOV models (Type-RS, Type-RZ, and Type-FV), making this a direct bolt-in replacement for any existing GReddy 2-bolt flange installation. A GReddy weld-on aluminum flange (part 11900451) or a third-party application-specific adapter is required for installation and is sold separately.
