Product Description

The GReddy 12515001 is a direct air intake duct designed for the Toyota 86 (ZN6), Scion FR-S, and Subaru BRZ (ZC6) equipped with the FA20 flat-four engine. Constructed from FRP with a black gel coat finish, the duct installs inside the front grille opening to actively channel cool, dense outside air into the factory air cleaner box - counteracting the heat soak that builds up in the enclosed engine bay, particularly during sustained spirited driving or track use where thermal management directly affects power output consistency.

Unlike a full intake replacement, the 12515001 works with the existing OEM air cleaner box (or the GReddy AIRINX-B performance filter for added benefit), allowing owners to reduce intake air temperature without removing the factory filtration system. Installation requires bumper removal, drilling of reinforcement holes, and trimming of plastic inner bumper components. Vehicles produced after the mid-cycle refresh require additional processing for clearance. This duct is not compatible with GReddy turbo kit configurations. Not CARB compliant - cannot be shipped to California.
