Product Description

The Granatelli Motor Sports 430160B is a direct-fit billet thermostat housing upgrade for the 6.2L supercharged Hellcat V8 found in the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, Dodge Durango Hellcat, and Ram/Dodge 1500 TRX. The factory plastic housing is prone to cracking under the thermal and pressure demands of the supercharged 6.2L, and its internal casting bridge restricts coolant flow through the thermostat bore. Granatelli's CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum housing eliminates that bridge entirely with a flush-mount bolt design, opening up as much as 40% more coolant flow and dramatically reducing the restriction the factory unit creates.

The kit includes a 160°F high-flow thermostat that opens earlier than the OEM unit, allowing coolant to begin circulating sooner and keeping operating temperatures lower - a meaningful upgrade for high-power Hellcat builds, especially in track or towing environments where heat management is critical. The housing also features a 1/2" NPT port for the optional addition of an aftermarket coolant temperature or pressure sensor, adding monitoring capability not available with the stock plastic housing.
