Product Description

The Gram Lights WGIV37EG2 is a 57DR rotary forged wheel in 18x8.5 with a +37mm offset for the 5x114.3mm bolt pattern - a North American exclusive model developed in response to demand for a more aggressive version of the acclaimed 57D. The "R" in 57DR stands for RACE, signifying a deeper spoke concavity and more assertive profile designed specifically for the sports and drift scene. Unlike standard cast wheels, the 57DR uses a rotary forging (flow forming) process on the barrel: the initial casting is spun under heat and pressure to stretch and compress the rim area, producing grain structure and mechanical properties approaching those of a fully forged wheel at a significantly lower cost.

The 6-spoke design provides generous clearance for aftermarket big brake kits, making the 57DR a practical choice for track-built and performance street vehicles without the clearance headaches common to lower-spoke-count wheels. At 29 lbs in 18x8.5 form, the rotary forged construction keeps unsprung weight competitive with comparable wheels in this size class.
