Vehicle Fitment

  • Front axle - cars equipped originally with GiroDisc 380 mm 2-piece front rotors
  • Typical compatible models include: Porsche 911 (997 / 991, Turbo, GT3, GT3 RS, etc.), Porsche Cayman/Boxster GT4 & 718-series (981/982) without ceramic brakes, Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing (with GiroDisc front rotor setup), Maserati MC20 (non-ceramic rotor setup)
  • Also compatible with other makes/models using GiroDisc 380 mm 2-piece rotor hats - verify hat-to-ring compatibility before ordering

Features

  • High-carbon cast-iron replacement rotor rings - restores braking surface and heat capacity after wear or damage
  • Floating 2-piece design - rings attach to existing GiroDisc aluminum hats for consistent rotor dynamics
  • Directional slotted or vented surface (depending on variant) for improved pad bite, gas/debris purge and fade resistance under heavy braking
  • Includes all required mounting hardware - drive bushings/pins, Belleville washers / spring-clip hardware for proper floating-mount re-assembly
  • Full replacement set: left + right front rings + full hardware kit - direct-bolt replacement (when used with GiroDisc hats)
  • Maintains original caliper fitment, brake geometry and bias - no caliper or hub changes required
  • Cost-effective refresh option - replace only the worn rings instead of entire rotor assemblies to reduce long-term ownership cost
  • Made from GiroDisc proprietary cast-iron - engineered for heat resistance, durability, and track/street durability under repeated use

Specifications

  • Part Number: D1-066
  • Rotor Diameter: 380 mm (front axle)
  • Rotor Ring Material: High-carbon cast iron (GiroDisc proprietary casting)
  • Rotor Type: Slotted / vented (as per original ring spec), floating two-piece ring + hat system
  • Sold As: Pair (front left + right rotor rings), including full floating-mount hardware kit
  • Mounting: Floating-mount using alloy-steel drive bushings/pins, Belleville / spring-clip hardware (supplied)
  • Compatibility Note: Must be used with genuine GiroDisc 380 mm aluminum hats - not compatible with OEM or other-brand hats / one-piece rotors

Included Components

  • 2x Front rotor rings (left + right), 380 mm, cast-iron, slotted/vented
  • Floating-mount hardware kit (drive bushings/pins, Belleville washers / spring-clip fasteners, bolts) for full rotor re-assembly

Product Description

The GiroDisc D1-066 Front Replacement Rotor Ring set provides a direct, cost-effective way to bring your front braking system back to like-new performance - assuming your vehicle was already equipped with GiroDisc's 380 mm 2-piece floating rotors. Instead of replacing the entire rotor assembly (hat + ring), D1-066 lets you reuse the existing aluminum hats and install fresh cast-iron rotor rings. That means you get the braking surface, heat-capacity and fade resistance restored - at a fraction of the cost of full rotor replacement.

Because the rings are precisely machined to original GiroDisc tolerances and include new floating-mount hardware, installation is straightforward (as long as original hats are in good condition). The new rings bolt on with full floating clearance, preserving correct pad calibration, rotor float, and brake bias. The slotted/vented surfaces help maintain braking performance under high thermal stress (track days, repeated braking, spirited driving), and the floating design helps manage thermal expansion and ring-to-hat stresses - reducing risk of warping or vibration under load. For Porsche, Cadillac, Maserati or other cars using GiroDisc 380 mm fronts - D1-066 is an ideal way to refresh worn rotors while retaining the advantages of a two-piece floating system.
