The GiroDisc CCRK1-008 is a front brake caliper rebuild kit engineered for the factory Brembo front calipers fitted to the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 5 through X and the 2008-2017 Subaru WRX STI. These calipers use 40mm and 46mm pistons, and this kit includes all piston seals and dust boots needed to fully restore one caliper to proper operating condition. Components are manufactured to GiroDisc's own specifications, providing a purpose-built alternative to OEM Mitsubishi or Subaru sourced seals.

The Brembo front calipers on Evo and STI platforms are particularly prone to seal degradation after frequent track use, where sustained high brake temperatures cause caliper piston seals to harden, crack, or swell - leading to piston sticking, fluid seeping, or inconsistent pedal feel. Rebuilding with fresh seals and dust boots restores full caliper function and consistent braking performance. GiroDisc strongly recommends pairing any caliper rebuild with their titanium pad shields, which act as a thermal barrier between the pad backing plate and caliper face to dramatically reduce heat transfer into the caliper body and brake fluid.
