Fitment Notes

• REQUIRES existing GiroDisc A2-282 aluminum hats - this kit is rings and hardware only, not a complete rotor
• Not compatible with carbon ceramic brake (CCB) equipped cars
• Replace rotor rings when thickness reaches 22mm, or sooner if a crack extends to the outer edge of the ring
• New hardware is included and should be used - do not reuse old drive pins or fasteners

GiroDisc's 2-piece rotor design was built around this exact scenario: instead of replacing a full rotor assembly when the iron wears down, only the ring needs swapping. The D2-282 kit gives G8X M2/M3/M4 owners running the A2-282 rear rotor system new rings and hardware while keeping their existing aluminum hats in service.

Made from the same proprietary high-carbon iron casting as the original rotor, with the same 48-vane cooling design, it restores full performance without the added cost of new hats - a meaningful savings for track-focused owners replacing worn rings on a regular cycle.
