Product Description

The GiroDisc A1-208 is a front 2-piece floating rotor pair for the Tesla Model 3 Performance (2017-2023, pre-facelift) and Model Y Performance (2020-2025) with Brembo front calipers. At 8.3 kg per rotor vs. 9.1 kg OE, these rotors reduce unsprung and rotational mass for improved acceleration response, suspension feedback, and braking efficiency. The 48 curved directional vanes act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc under heavy braking, directly addressing the brake fade issues common in performance Tesla applications on track.

The fully floating design allows the ring to self-center between pads and expand freely with heat, eliminating the distortion and vibration associated with fixed one-piece rotors. Rebuildable -- replace only the cast iron ring (D1-208) when worn, retaining the aluminum hat. Made in the USA from US-sourced materials. Companion rear rotor is GiroDisc A2-208.
