Product Description

The GiroDisc CCRK1-162 is a front brake caliper rebuild kit engineered specifically for the factory Brembo 6-piston front calipers fitted to the 2016-2020 Ford Shelby GT350 and GT350R. These are the largest and most track-capable Brembo calipers offered on an S550-generation Mustang, using three distinct piston sizes - 34mm, 36mm, and 38mm - and this kit includes the full set of pressure seals and dust boots needed to restore one caliper to proper operating condition. Components are made to GiroDisc's own specifications at the same material standard as factory parts.

The GT350 and GT350R are among the most track-driven Mustangs ever produced, and their Brembo 6-piston front calipers are subjected to extreme thermal loads during performance use. Over time - and especially after regular track sessions without titanium pad shields - the pressure seals and dust boots degrade, resulting in a gradual loss of pedal firmness and travel, or outright fluid seeping past worn piston seals. GiroDisc recommends a caliper rebuild every two to three track seasons to maintain optimal pedal feel and braking consistency. Pairing the rebuild with GiroDisc titanium pad shields significantly extends the interval between rebuilds by reducing heat transfer into the caliper face.
