Product Description

The GiroDisc A2-169 replaces the rear rotors on the Ford Focus RS Mk3 with a genuine 2-piece floating design, trimming rotational and unsprung weight compared to the factory rotor for quicker acceleration and sharper suspension response - all while maintaining factory brake bias and ABS function, unlike a full big brake kit swap. The lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum hat and proprietary cast iron disc face are both made and machined entirely in the USA.

The disc's curved vane design draws on racing-derived cooling technology, using centrifugal force to actively pump air through the rotor for better heat management under hard braking. GiroDisc's floating mount system, secured with in-house-manufactured alloy steel drive pins and anti-noise spring washers, allows the rotor to expand with heat and self-center between the pads without the rattle typical of lesser floating rotor designs - and since only the cast iron ring needs replacing at wear intervals, the aluminum hat can be reused indefinitely, making this a smart long-term investment for Focus RS owners running the car hard on track.
