Product Description

The GiroDisc D1-147 front replacement rotor rings allow owners of GiroDisc two-piece brake systems to replace worn friction surfaces while retaining their existing aluminum hats. Compatible with multiple GM performance platforms including C7 Corvette Z06/Grand Sport, C8 Corvette Z06 (factory iron rotors), 6th Gen Camaro SS 1LE, and 2nd Gen Cadillac CTS-V. Each ring is manufactured from GiroDisc's proprietary high-carbon cast iron, poured and machined entirely in-house at their Bellingham, Washington facility. The 72 curved directional vanes create a centrifugal pumping action that forces cooling air through the disc far more efficiently than OEM pillar vane designs. Slotted surfaces maintain consistent pad contact by evacuating gases and debris. Complete hardware kit included ensures proper axial and radial float is restored during service.
