Product Description

The Gibson GP500S is a short tube stainless steel performance header set engineered as a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory exhaust manifolds on 6.0L V8 (LQ4/LQ9) GM trucks and SUVs from 2002-2006, spanning Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon, and Hummer H2 applications. Using 1.625-inch mandrel-bent 16-gauge 409L stainless steel tubing and 3/8-inch laser-cut port flanges, these headers significantly improve exhaust gas flow compared to the restrictive cast factory manifolds, with dyno-tuned performance gains focused in the low-to-mid RPM range most relevant to daily driving and towing.

Installation is fully bolt-on with no welding required - the 2.5-inch collectors mate directly to the OEM crossover Y-pipe using the factory O-ring gaskets.
