Product Description

The Go Fast Bits T9464 VTA is a vent-to-atmosphere blow-off valve designed for 2011-2021 Ford F-150 EcoBoost (2.7L and 3.5L), 2017-2021 F-150 Raptor, and 2018-2021 Lincoln Navigator 3.5L EcoBoost applications. The VTA replaces the weak plastic internal valve mechanism of the factory electronic diverter valve with CNC-machined billet aluminum components, while retaining the factory solenoid and full ECU control for the fastest possible response time. The result is an aggressive atmospheric blow-off sound combined with improved throttle response, superior boost holding, and up to 30% faster boost recovery on gearshift through GFB's patented Turbo Management System (TMS) technology.

The pilot-actuated operation re-purposes the factory solenoid to control pressure behind the piston rather than the piston itself, allowing progressive valve opening that vents only the amount of air necessary to eliminate compressor surge. This preserves boost pressure in the intercooler for faster spool-up when the throttle is re-opened, delivering noticeably improved drivability over the factory diverter valve. The billet aluminum construction is capable of handling upwards of 50 PSI, making it suitable for both stock and heavily modified EcoBoost applications. Installation is a direct bolt-on to the OE diverter valve mounting location using the included bracket and hardware.
