Product Description

The Go Fast Bits T9480 is the VTA (Vent to Atmosphere) blow-off valve for late-model Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, and Skoda vehicles equipped with a Continental-branded electronic diverter valve, covering the EA888 EVO4 2.0 TSI (Golf GTI/R Mk8, Arteon, Octavia Mk4) and Audi 3.0 TFSI B9/C8 platform vehicles. It is a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory diverter valve -- remove the OEM unit and bolt the T9480 in its place, no adaptors or modifications required.

Unlike the binary open/shut operation of the OEM diverter, the T9480 uses GFB's patented pilot-actuation system to open the piston progressively in proportion to what the engine actually needs -- venting only the excess pressure required to eliminate compressor surge, then closing to preserve residual boost. This delivers sharper throttle response, faster boost recovery, and a signature blow-off sound. CNC-machined metal components replace the factory's leaky plastic valve piston, and the integrated solenoid retains full OEM ECU control with no tuning changes needed. Rated to 50+ psi and backed by GFB's lifetime warranty.
