Product Description

The Go Fast Bits 7304 WGA is a bolt-on internal wastegate actuator for 1997-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX models equipped with the factory TD04 turbocharger. It is designed to improve boost control compared with the OEM actuator by using a larger effective diaphragm area, which gives the actuator more authority over the wastegate flap under high load and exhaust backpressure conditions.

GFB equips the 7304 with a long 18mm stroke, compact housing, and a turnbuckle preload adjuster that allows finer tuning without the inconvenience of frequent spring swaps. As supplied, the actuator uses the 5 psi and 7 psi springs for a 12 psi base setting, and an additional 10 psi spring is included for more setup options. Overall spring combinations and preload adjustment allow a configurable base boost range from 5 psi to 24 psi.

This actuator is intended as a tuning tool and will increase boost pressure, so proper ECU tuning is required after installation. Fitment is confirmed for Subaru WRX applications from model year 1997 through 2007 with the factory TD04 turbo.
