The Go Fast Bits 3008 G-Force III is the high-range variant of GFB's flagship electronic boost controller, identical in feature set to the 3005 but supplied with a MAC 4-port solenoid in place of the 3-port. This distinction matters significantly in practice. A 3-port solenoid operates by bleeding boost pressure away from the wastegate actuator to hold it closed and build boost - a system that works well when the target boost is below double the wastegate gate pressure. When target boost exceeds that threshold, or when systems like 2-step or anti-lag create high exhaust backpressure that physically forces the wastegate open during spool-up, a 3-port solenoid lacks the authority to maintain boost control. The 4-port solenoid in the 3008 adds positive pressure actuation capability, allowing it to actively push the wastegate closed as well as vent it - delivering control authority across a far wider boost range and making it essential for highly modified turbo setups, large-frame turbos, and any build running aggressive launch or anti-lag strategies.

Beyond the solenoid, the 3008 delivers the full G-Force III feature set: six individually programmable boost presets each with adjustable peak boost, rise rate, and closed-loop correction; a Scramble function that instantly activates a dedicated preset for a user-defined time on a remote trigger; and real-time AFR/Lambda monitoring when connected to an external wideband O2 controller. Closed-loop control actively compensates for boost variations across different gears, RPM ranges, and atmospheric conditions to keep each preset delivering its target curve consistently.
