Fitment Notes

• Fits 2-inch receiver hitches only - the hitch's hollow shank inserts into any standard 2-inch receiver opening
• Maximum drop or rise range: 4.5 inches across 3 adjustable ball mount positions
• Can be used in both the drop position and the rise position - flip the hitch upside down for rise applications
• Not recommended for use with non-GEN-Y Hitch towing attachments or weight distribution systems
• Not recommended for flat towing (dolly or tow bar) applications

Product Description

The GEN-Y Hitch GH-102358 is the PHANTOM series adjustable drop hitch for 2-inch receiver-equipped half-ton trucks, SUVs, and light-duty vehicles. Built with the same USA manufacturing standards as GEN-Y's heavy-duty Mega-Duty line, the PHANTOM brings GEN-Y's adjustable stacked-tube design to the 5,000 lb towing segment - providing a practical, versatile upgrade over fixed-drop ball mounts at an accessible price.

The hitch features a 3-position stacked tube design that allows the included ball mount to be repositioned across a 4.5-inch range to achieve a level tow regardless of the difference in height between the vehicle's hitch receiver and the trailer coupler. The entire hitch can also be flipped upside down for rise applications, adding further flexibility for lowered vehicles or trailers with high coupler heights. The 2-inch hollow shank keeps weight down while maintaining the 5,000 lb / 500 lb GTW and TW ratings needed for most half-ton truck and SUV towing applications.
